POP-UP EVENTS with Kara marie

Periodically, Kara Marie will custom curate a special pop-up shoot event to accommodate multiple clients in shorter shoot experiences with a specific theme. These events can be a great opportunity for those who have already had a full shoot experience or are on the waitlist for one in the future, and those who feel called by the dedicated theme. 2024 POP-UP EVENTS

NATURAL BEAUTY SHOOT EVENT

The simplest of shoots, this intimate portrait event is intended to celebrate your most natural beauty. During this relaxed 30 minute portrait session in a minimalist and beautiful private studio, sitters will be encouraged to come as they are; with minimal-to-no makeup, natural hair, a favorite piece of clothing (nude is an encouraged option), and an intention of which personality facets they would like to explore and capture.

Clients will have their choice of 5 web-resolution digital images with the ability to purchase prints and additional digital portraits at their discretion. The flat rate package for this session is $1500 USD + tax with payment due in full to reserve the time slot.

  • April 29th & 30th, 2024 MILAN, ITALY

FINE ART NUDE SHOOT EVENT

These private time slots are 1 hour long and will be curated fine art nude artistic portraiture of women. Provided will be a glorious curated set, draping fabrics, flowers, and other props….clients merely need to show up. No wardrobe, no glamorous makeover. You’ll be directed through a 1 hour fine art nude shoot in which we’ll capture figure details, goddess-like portraits, and artistic movement. 

The finished product is intended to be in P R I N T  A R T. You will select your favorite image for a 20x30 fine art wall piece made in Italy (choice of floating metal fine art print or mounted canvas), that will be accompanied by ten 5x7 art prints, as well as the matching digital images in web resolution format. Flat rate package for this session is $3950 USD + tax.

FAQ

  • The beauty of these pop-up events is that they can take place anywhere in the world. Kara Marie sources out private locations that suit the theme of each individual event.

  • No. While there may be a separate room dedicated to refreshments and mingling with other clients before or after their shoots, each time slot is a private one and there will not be anyone else observing your session.

  • Yes. While previous KM clients will have advanced notice of new openings, anyone is eligible to book a time slot at a pop-up event.

  • The nature of these events is to allow for Kara Marie to photograph multiple clients in a day when that is not otherwise possible for custom studio or destination photo shoots. With the shortened duration of the time slots and the back-to-back nature of scheduling, clients should only select to book a pop-up event time slot if the curated theme aligns with them. Those with special requests or those interested in a custom shoot are encouraged to book a full collection.

  • Unless otherwise stated within the description of the event, clients are to arrive for their time slot ready-to-shoot.

  • Unless otherwise permitted on a case-by-case basis, pop-up events require payment in full to reserve the time slot. All major credit cards are accepted as well as PayPal and PayPal Credit.

  • Generally speaking, the turnaround time is roughly 3 weeks from the shoot until the remote video photo reveal appointment. In cases of multi-day pop-up events with many clients, turnaround time may increase. You’ll be notified at your shoot when you can expect to have your photo reveal appointment, or if there will be a password protected gallery issued to you to view at your own pace.

  • Based on ethical and artistic preferences, Kara Marie’s standard natural retouching process, only temporary blemishes such as acne, scrapes, and bruises will be removed. The image enhancement process involves contrast, exposure, cropping and background clean-up, as well as expert black and white conversions. Should you have any specific requests or questions, these conversations are always welcomed and encouraged.
