Any location will be considered on a case by case basis, however additional travel charge may be required for certain destinations. Included in the starting rate are most major cities in Europe within a direct flight or train from Milan.

Every destination experience includes total coordination of the shoot day events. You simply need to show up at the predetermined location to start the day. In addition to a full day of shooting, Kara Marie will create a cinematic video short of your time together. Your images will be curated into a digital collection for your personal use, your favorite image will be printed as a piece of fine Italian wall art, and 20 of your images will be printed on handmade Italian paper, bound in an Italian leather storybook, and delivered to your door to enjoy forever.

All Destination Experiences are fully customizable and the sky is the limit, so if you’re dreaming of starting in Venice and ending in Paris aboard a luxury train, we can accommodate. If you’re dreaming of a hot air balloon adventure, we can accommodate. If you’d like to have your hair and makeup done, we can source an artist for you in your destination city. If you need a wardrobe stylist to help complete your vision- we can do that. Should you be interested in more printed products or a multi-day shoot, that’s available to you as well. We’ll have a thorough conversation to discuss all of your desires for this experience and you will be in charge of to lengths we go to.

It is recommended for clients to block out their entire day. Destination experiences will last anywhere between 4 and 7 hours, depending on the complexity of the day. This will involve getting to the location, breaking as needed for wardrobe changes or snacks, moving locations, and anything else needed to make sure your day exceeds your expectations. Lunch or dinner after the shoot will also be a part of your experience.

You’ll see a few sneak peek images within a few days of your shoot, and within 3 weeks, you’ll have your remote video photo reveal appointment from wherever you are in the world at your convenience. During this video appointment, Kara Marie will share each of your images with you individually, as well as help guide you through the process of selecting your favorites for your Italian storybook and provide mock-up visuals for your wall art. These appointments usually last about an hour and a half and provide a fun opportunity to relive your incredible day and enjoy your images together.
